Democrats Create A Bill to Bar Citizens 16-and-Under from Shooting AR-15s

In another ridiculous, absent-minded move, Liberals in Congress, eager to feel like their titles have meaning, are crafting legislation that keeps someone under the age of 18 from shooting an Ar15.  That’s right.  You didn’t read that incorrectly.  If you are under the age of 16 you can… get an abortion.  But you can’t SHOOT a rifle.  And a specific rifle, at that.  The one that’s used to kill far less than 300 people annually.

Don’t worry though, 16-year-and-younger audience, even though there are literally 10 times as many deaths from drowning in a pool of water, as are related in any way to an AR15, you can still go swimming in a swimming pool… by yourself.

It’s just one more move by Nanny-State Democrats who think they know best how to control your life and the lives of your children.  When will this country finally have enough of this Progressive ideology and say no more?

From Breitbart

According to The Hill, the ban was put forth by Senator Ed Markey (D-Mass.) and Representative Ruben Gallego (D-AZ-7). Markey released a statement with the ban, saying, “The small hands of children and big power of machine guns are a deadly combination. Assault weapons are weapons of war and should not be allowed in the hands of children.”

The ban is being pushed beside a Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence petition which is also aimed at placing “age restrictions” on shooting AR-15s and related firearms. The Brady Campaign said, “We’re now calling upon kids across the nation and their parents support this brave bill by signing our petition. Kids and assault weapons don’t mix.”

One thing is for sure…Parents:  Teach your kids about gun culture before rappers, Hollywood, or the media get their chance.

I believe you can learn all you'd ever need to know about a person by listening to how they describe an individuals freedom to protect themselves. I'm politically incorrect (and proud of it) and when it comes to gun rights for law abiding citizens, I am NEVER neutral!
